About the course
The Certificate II in Indigenous Leadership is an introductory qualification in Indigenous Leadership that is intensively delivered in a blended style of learning to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:
- Apply a small number of leadership styles to a range of different situations and contexts
- Become familiar with one’s own personal strengths and capabilities to make space for further personal development
- Be provided with the opportunity to apply leadership skills in professional and non-professional contexts
- Learn about working effectively in teams and other productive working relationships
- Understand and develop their own leadership vision and values
- Build leadership skills and knowledge
- Build your own personal and public confidence
Course Delivery Structure
- 12 months maximum duration
- 9 units
- 230 hours of face-to-face training (this may be via video conferencing in compliance with COVID-19 safety requirements)
- 430 hours of self-paced learning
- Blended delivery model, small group activities
- Regular checks in Trainers and/or Program Leaders
